Cardiac Care Project

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including heart diseases, account for 70% of global deaths. In India, lifestyle changes and unhealthy diets are driving disease patterns, leading to devastating health consequences. To address this, a PPP project was initiated in Uttarakhand to provide cost-effective cardiology services and early identification of community cardiac problems. The proposed invasive cardiology center will be run under PPP, with concessionaires responsible for refurbishing and managing it within government hospitals.
