100-Day Intensive TB Eradication Campaign

As part of the 2026 World TB Day celebrations, the Honorable Governor Lt Gen Gurmit Singh launched the “100-day Intensive TB Elimination Drive” at Lok Bhavan, Uttarakhand. This project is organized by the NHM Uttarakhand under the theme “Care For Every Citizen – TB Free Campaign.”

It is imperative for citizens to take part in this campaign and take responsibility. The Governor stated that social embarrassment must not become an obstacle to taking this campaign forward. With the backing of Honorable Health Minister Sh. Subodh Uniyal and other health officials, this program will include intensive screening, quality treatment, and assistance from “Nikshay Mitras.” The aim of this campaign is to see every citizen free from the scourge of TB.
